How It Works

New Patient Intake

First, you’ll answer a few questions about your health history, any medical conditions, and your specific weight loss goals. Then you’ll meet virtually with your provider to review your health history and goals to decide if treatment is right for you, all from the comfort of your own home.

From there, your provider will determine a focused plan to help you achieve your health goals and provide the appropriate prescription of your GLP-1 medication.

Monthly Membership

Each month, you’ll have a quick follow-up to check in on your progress, make any adjustments if needed, and renew your GLP-1 medication.

All appointments take place virtually through your secure patient portal and all GLP-1 medications and supplies are shipped directly from the pharmacy to your door. There is no minimum commitment required, no contract, and you can cancel anytime.

Of course, there is no need to wait until the appointment to ask questions. We’re here to support you throughout your journey!

Pricing

  • $200 | Review your health history, medication, and weight loss goals with your provider. *This does not include your first months medication. Your monthly membership charge of $350 is added to this visit when medication is ordered.

What is compounded semaglutide?

Compounded semaglutide is a GLP-1 injection that has the same active ingredient as brand name medications (such as Ozempic® and Wegovy®).* Partnering with FDA-registered outsourcing pharmacies, Don’t Weight Wellness is able to offer access to compounded semaglutide to patients in Maryland as an adjunct to a nutrient-dense diet and a generally active lifestyle.

*While compounded semaglutide has the same active ingredient as brand name medications, it is important to note that compounded medications are not FDA approved.

How does semaglutide work?

  • Reduces hunger

Semaglutide affects the hypothalamus, which helps to reduce appetite and decrease “food noise.”

  • Slows stomach emptying

It also slows down the rate at which your stomach emptys, so you feel full for longer.

  • Increases insulin

Semaglutide increases insulin production to help keep blood sugar levels regulated.
